G'day my name is Cameron Jones, and I'm a fishing writer, photographer and part time guide based in Sydney NSW, Australia. I started fishing with my dad when I was 4 years old and began travelling to remote destination from the age of 16. Since then I have spent the past 23 years writing and seeking new frontiers around Australia and count myself as being extremely blessed by having the fortune of meeting, fishing and learning from many of our countries best known anglers and icons, were I have enjoyed every moment pursuing fish throughout Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Asia.
Like any sport, anglers derives much of their long term talent and skills from having a good foundation and understanding of the basic's. Getting back to basic's can start at any age, and whether your 6 or 60 your never too old or too young to get into the greatest sport on the planet - FISHING........
